It comprises of 725 student beds within 352 student apartments. One of Adelaide’s most architecturally complex builds, SYNERGY CONSTRUCT has undertaken advanced construction innovation to complete this project. The company along with Project Manager Kenan Kovacevic and his team have well proven their high-level capability in the realisation of this spectacular building.

The project stood out to the MBA judging panel due to the speed of construction, meticulous planning of timeframes for material delivery, innovative off-site prefabrication components as well as precision design and construction strategy to accomplish construction of the building’s complex curved facade panels.

Simply the best of the best in this competitive category
– MBA judging panel

The 203 North Terrace Student accommodation tower ascends from a 15-metre-tall state heritage listed building facade built in 1878 and historically significant for its direct association with the large South Australian merchant firm of G & R Wills & Co. The project required the completion of substantial heritage restoration works to the existing facade and SYNERGY CONSTRUCT developed streamlined construction techniques in order to construct the 35 story tower simultaneously along with the heritage works.

The judging panel chose the 203 North Terrace Student accommodation project based on the brilliant construction management on a tight CBD site with considerable heritage works, the initiatives taken toward being able to add two extra floors to the project as well as accomplishing significant cost saves for the project whilst retaining design aesthetics.

SYNERGY CONSTUCT now goes on as nominated for the MBA National Awards which will be held in November 2022 – A fantastic achievement for the company and all those involved.
